We REALLY enjoyed our stay here. The staff were EXTREMELY nice and helpful. They called to check on us, and offered suggestions for touring downtown Savannah. The owner takes the time to speak with you, and the establishment is really beautiful! We actually left a hotel within walking distance because of their rude staff and distasteful treatment. We were more than relieved to know that this wasn't typical of Savannah, as the staff at this hotel instantly made us feel at ease. Definitely recommend.

But this one was a little irriating. I guess it is because it is right off of the highway or something I don't know. But the bathroom in our room had a slight oder and the computer room could only be accessed with your key, downfall on that it was hotter than hell in that room and you were not alloweed to bring water in. That is the first time I've seen that in a Comfort Suites. Then at breakfast, which is standard, the lady who was putting out the food put a tip box out. I again have never seen someone do that. The carpet had quite a bit of staining in our room and in the hall ways but the beds were comfortable. Not my favorite one but it worked for the night.

The hotel was nice but not a $* a night hotel by any means. It was conveniently located around other hotels and eaterys. It was a little far from the historic district but near highways that will get you where you need to go quickly and easily. The hotel was very noisy. We could hear every footstep from the people upstairs, every shower people around us took and children running up and down the halls. The breakfast was a joke. The line was not organized, they ran out of food. I got some cream cheese for a bagel and it was moldy.

Courteous staff, clean facility with very comfortable beds. Excellent selection for breasfast with a choice of hot or cold. Our stay was short but very enjoyable. We plan on staying in this hotel on future travels.

02/20/2010The stay was fine. had a hard time getting the room resupplied with cups. all in all the room was clean and we enjoyed the stay.
